Parkwood Skin Clinic offers skin checks and treatments for skin cancer at our convenient location in Parkwood on the Gold Coast. Established in 2023, we have the experience and expertise to ensure that our patients get best possible treatments for their unique skin cancer needs.
Gilles Laur is a dedicated medical practitioner with a passion for his craft who started his journey in the Caribbean Islands before moving to France at the tender age of 7.
He attended medical school at the University of Montpellier, where he held prominent roles in stroke management, infectious disease, vascular medicine and emergency services.
After achieving his Doctorate of Medicine with honours from Reims University, he headed out on an adventure within France to challenge himself further, becoming the sole doctor responsible for aged care and a local hospital within a rural community.
After gaining ample experience in skin cancer medicine and surgical management across the east coast of Australia, Dr. Laur has enrolled in three Masters courses from some of Australia’s most elite institutions.
His holistic philosophy is encapsulated in his life motto, “be the care you want for yourself and your family”. Dr. Laur seeks out and absorbs new wisdom to provide enlightened health care.
