At Parkwood Skin Clinic, your care is delivered directly by a doctor from start to finish.

As a doctor-led skin cancer clinic, every consultation, assessment, procedure, and follow-up is performed by the same medical doctor, ensuring continuity, precision, and accountability at every step.

We prioritise evidence-based diagnostics, refined procedural technique, and long-term treatment planning—without high-volume or multi-provider handovers—so your care remains consistent, medically grounded, and personally supervised throughout.

three steps process

We are here to help you every step of the way, from providing knowledgeable advice about skincare products and treatments, to offering premier in-clinic procedures tailored just for you.

01

Initial Consultation

Regular skin checks with a qualified medical professional  ensure your overall skin health and detect any suspicious spots. Dr Gilles Laur will provide a comprehensive head-to-toe exam, utilising his Dermatoscope (skin microscope) for additional insight into possible lesions or moles.

02

Tests

A doctor’s trained eyes may be able to detect cancerous skin spots, but uncertain lesions require more analysis. To determine whether or not the suspicious spot is in fact cancer, a biopsy -a small sample of skin taken from the area- can provide an accurate diagnosis. The dermatopathologist who examines this tissue will also be able to assess what kind of treatment would best serve you!

03
